Bats -

Bat, bat flying tight
In the caves of twilight
What indescribable mutation
led to such an amazing sight

Caves are thy forte
And so are the hollows
One ghoulish bat beckons
And million others follow

Ok, trying to satirise William Blake isn't working apparently, especially when you have a workload breathing down your neck.

I've always been fascinated by these creatures and their adaptations for flight and hearing. Enjoy the image.

can we assume for a moment that i mistook bats to be ptersaurs? Afterall, pterosaur and chiroptera have atleast one root in common.

explains our enduring fascination with vampires? What is it
