Am ashamed to be human

"Entertainer of the day".......
This site usually entertains me... but today, i find myself enraged... because of this.....

It is permissible for a woman to work or study so long as a number of conditions are met:

- That this work is suited to the nature and aptitude of women, such as medicine, nursing, teaching, tailoring and so on.

- The work should be in a place that is for women only, with no mixing between the sexes. It is not permissible for a woman to study or work in a mixed school.

- The woman should wear proper Islamic hijaab at work.

- Her work should not lead to her travelling without a mahram.

- Her going out to work should not involve her committing any sin, such as being alone with the driver, or wearing perfume where non-mahram men will be able to smell it.

- That should not lead to her neglecting her duties of looking after the house or taking care of her husband and children.

To hell with everybody...

Paraphrasing myself... If indeed there is a god, and he is a sexist, i would rather do without one... dont know if i have ever been as furious as i am now....

You think only in one dimension. There is a lot more in it than you think. What really scares me are half philisophers like you who pass off as intellectuals rubbishing all religions in this world. You are at the surface level.

Dear Anonymous,
Please let me know what the surface is, what your "surface level" is, and what exactly lies beneath that surface.

hi full philosopher, care to explain the other dimensions? do u think being a sexist is justifiable in any dimension in 2005?

You're enraged at that? Come on man, these are the collective thoughts of tribal retards, a mob if ever there was one. You can't take it seriously enough to be enraged by it!

Ambar let me state the obvious so that we don't go through the torture of restating it a million more times - "We are homo sapiens"

Hmm... You guys are still stuck on it. So lets get into deeper philisophy. Let me introduce you to the concept of guirella biases. A guirella bais is a bais that is hidden, not seen. It is bias that looks osetensibly as something good. Usually it is hidden under a word called affirmitve action. It is perptuated by people who appear to be fighting for 'social justice'.

Do not misinterpret it by thinking i support what ever was said in this posting. I am trying to bring to your notice biases all around you which you are not able to see. Guirella biases that is. May be because you are socially conditioned to think that men are evil or you just look at things at the surface.

Just to give you an example of guirella biases. Why do you think women have to pay less income tax in our country. One argument i have heard in support for it is that women have been discriminated againt in history. But does that justify another discrmination. Its like saying some body broke into my house, so i will rob myself to undo the damage. Think about it ......

Dear Anon/full philosopher,

Please clarify the identity of this "guirella". Is she some desi cousin of cinderella? In case she's not taking her "duties" of caring for home, husband and children seriously, please inform us. We have stones handy.

sacriligeous blasphemy... what a!

guerilla = guevera(che) + african mountain gorilla

Full, i accept ur guerilla concept.

I dont deny the fact that religions are important... had it not been for them, humanity(civilisation) might not have existed now.. (am not getting into the anthropic principle argument on this) :)

What I say is, to a few of us, religion doesn't count.. What sounded logical in 870AD or 1500BC does not sound logical to us now... It is as important to me to criticise certain points, as defending these points is to mullahs and pandits...

In 2005, being a sexist sounds gross(to me). I wouldn't respect a sexist born after 1980(or that generation), for all s/he is worth... Again, am not talking about the majority of humanity, which is sexist.. i don't care a damn... To me, and a few like minded ppl, the only difference is biological(the physiological).... The rest is all acquired from the society, which is schized...

Accepted, I am biased... but i believe i am biased for the better...
